Last week Ukraine has ratified Free Trade Agreement with Canada. Olexandra Bandarska, analyst of the Association of Ukrainian Pig Breeders (AUPB) explains how it will affect domestic pork market.
«Last year, when Ukraine allowed pork and beef import from Canada with no extra certification there was a concern of Canadian meat to appear at the market. But 2016 has gone and showed that all the concerns were groundless as no live pigs, pork or pork by-products import from overseas including Canada was registered.»
