Fast finished and meat is going up in price

According to experts, chicken hasn’t been practically imported into Ukraine recently. In fact, the domestic market demands are supplied now only by a few home companies. This situation immediately influenced a buyer’s pocket as a kilogram of chicken went up at 2 HRN. If in early March chicken cost was about 15 HRN per kg, now the price is about 17 HRN per kg. And that's not the limit, as experts predict.
As to pork and beef, they have also considerably risen in price - 5 HRN per kg in average. For example, a month ago, pork tenderloin was available for 50 HRN per kg in the capital markets, now it should be paid at least 55 HRN for the same meat. A kilogram of beef private traders estimate in 50 HRN in average, while in early March it can be bought for 45 HRN or even 40 HRN. Such a rise in price for red meat is traditional. The fact that the fasting is over, and people go to barbecues and so on. Therefore, experts predict rise in prices for meat will continue in April.
