Price increase continuing

The price for pigs of the 1st and 2nd category considering subsidies was 14,029 UAH/t. The price increased by 2% during the month and by 7% during the year. The lowest price for pigs was in Ivano-Frankivsk region and it was 11,000UAH/t. The highest price for pigs was in Kyiv region and it was 16,480 UAH/t.
The wholesale price for pigs of the second category increased by 1% during the month, and by 2% during the year. As of the 1st of July the average pork price was 27.14UAH/kg. The highest price was in Rivne region (32.50UAH/kg) and the lowest price was in Donetsk region (22.6UAH/kg). The retail pork price remains unchanged and is 39.19 UAH/kg, but it has decreased by 2% during the year.
