Ukraine has decreased meat import twice

Ukraine has decreased meat import twice. It is up to 150-160 thousand tons per year. The

Minister of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine announced about it during telephone line in “Komsomolska Pravda in Ukraine”.

“Meat import has decreased almost twice. By the end of the year we will import 150-160 thousand tons of different kind of meat. Two or three years ago we imported 500 thousand tons of meat. Today, the imported meat is not of the first or highest grade; so it is meat used in processing”, — explained Mykola Prysyazhnyuk.
