Ukraine decreased import of meat and meat products substantially during the previous year.
Ukraine decreased the import of meat by 35% in the comparison with 2010. Ukraine imported 216,000 tons of meat in 2011. It imported 83,000 tons of pork, 60,800 tons of poultry meat, 3,200 tons of beef.
It exported 85,000 tons of meat: 12,500 tons of pork, 50,000 tons of poultry meat, 18,000 tons of beef.
In 2010 Ukraine imported 342,100 tons of meat products. It imported 179,800 tons of pork, 150,400 tons of poultry meat, 11,900 tons of beef.
