The domestic market will be provided with meat by 90%

It was announced by the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
The consumption level of meat products will be 2.477 mln tons, the volumes of domestic production of meat will be 2.26 mln tons in 2012. It will be exported 90 thousand tons of meat products; it will be imported 217 thousand tons of meat products.
The export of meat to Ukraine decreased by 40% in 2012, due to the increase of domestic production.
It is planned to produce 410 thousand tons of beef, 750 thousand tons of pork, 1.06 mln tons of poultry meat. It is expected to export 10 thousand tons of beef, 15 thousand tons of pork, 62 thousand tons of poultry meat. It will be imported 20 thousand tons of beef, 130 thousand tons of pork, 60 thousand tons of poultry meat.
