Official opening of the Chinese market to Belgian pork

Sabine Laruelle, Minister of Agriculture, welcomes the effective opening of the Chinese market to exports of pork from Belgium.
Last week, Chinese Vice Minister Pu Changcheng delivered to the Belgian Foreign Minister, Didier Reynders, a letter of formalization in which the Chinese authorities approved five Belgian companies to export pork to China.
The furnishing of this document marks the real start of the sale of meat to the Chinese market, three years after the signing of the protocol.
