Live pigs market: possibility to fetch a breath

On the 6th week of 2015, the live pigs market feels a kind of stabilization: producers could maintain the planned price level. So that in the East pigs were sold by 21.5-24 UAH/kg, the price range in central regions was a shade less (21.8-23 UAH/kg), in the West the price diversified within 20.5-23 UAH/kg.
The processors’ mood during the week was complex. Somebody ordered additional consignments, and somebody vice versa, insisted on price decrease. However, producers in the Center and in the West don’t plan to reduce prices this week, while the decrease of upper bound in eastern regions in expected on 80 kopeck.
