ASF: two more cases in Chernigiv and Mykolaiv regions

Last week in Ukraine were registered new cases of African swine fever in Chernigiv and Mykolaiv regions, informs Ukrainian veterinary watchdog.
According to the report, November, 13 on was registered the disease of pigs on backyard farm in Bobrovytsia town (Chernigiv region). The ASF was confirmed after the examination of pathological material in State Research and Development Institute of laboratory diagnosis and veterinary and sanitary expertise. All infected animals were killed by bloodless method.
The second case was registered in Velykoveselivka village (Vradiivka district, Mykolaiv region). Here on the territory of former dead pile were found two dead pigs with symptoms of tissue autolysis. Pigs’ carcasses were burned. The location area was disinfected.
The diagnosis on ASF was confirmed by State Research and Development Institute of laboratory diagnosis and veterinary and sanitary expertise.
