Ukraine: new case of ASF was registered in Odesa oblast

The outbreak of African swine fever happened in backyard farm in Myloliubivka village (Rozdilna district, Odesa oblast). 10 pigs were housed there, 9 of them died. Laboratory analysis of collected biomaterial samples confirms the diagnosis on ASF.
State Veterinary and Phytosanitary Service stated that.
In 2016 it was the first case of disease in this region, but last year two outbreaks were registered there — in Savran and Mykolaivka districts.
At the present moment, realization of pork and its products is prohibited in the supervised area. Other measures of biosecurity are held there.
