Rivne region: three new outbreaks of ASF

The African swine fever was found in the private sector of three districts of Rivne region (Ozero village, Volodymyretskyi region; Verbivka village, Dubrovytskyi region and Novorichytsia village, Zarichnenskyi region). It is stated on the website of State Service of Food Safety and Consumer Protectoin.

«Examening of taken biomaterial samples at the State Research Institute of Laboratory Diagnostics and Veterinary Expertise (Kyiv) 19.08.2016 the African swine fever (ASF) was diagnosed (the report about the research results number 005474 p.m ./16 of 19.08.2016).

The meetings of state emergency of anti-epizootic commissions in the respective local administrations were hold to coordinate the localization and liquidation of ASF outbreaks. Their decisions approved the plans of ASF eradication, defined boundaries of epizootic cells, protection zones and surveillance,» — was told in the message.

The representatives of State Service of Food Safety and Consumer Protection and State Research Institute of Laboratory Diagnostics and Veterinary Expertise went to Rivne region for action coordination.

In the hotbed of diseases the localization and preventing the spread of ASF pathogens are realized.
