Eko Mit, LLC is a young, ambitious company. It is focused on a high quality pig livestock production. It was created with the support of Polish partners in October, 2013. It is situated in Batyatychy village, Lviv region. The company started with reconstruction of inactive farm.
Production. Eko Mit, LLC started its production with 800 heads of parental livestock and 400 gilts F1 in December, 2014. For work they chose French genetics from Choice Genetics Company. Nowadays, there are 2,5 thousand sows F1 for slaughter pigs production and 700 purebred for breeding purposes.
Eko Mit’s genetic variety is represented by lines: female — Gallia, Redone, F1 Naїma and male — P76, Pietrain, Neckar, Ebx. Pig farm production capacity is 3.5 thousand sows, in general. There are units for replacement gilts and two for growing piglets. The last ones come to realization in 25 kg weight.
Eko Mit provides complete herd support (staff training, making diets, biocontrol etc.) for customers who buy 100 and more gilts F1.
Animals are fed with premixes and feed from their «food» partner — Josera company (Germany).
Equipment. For animals’ housing is used slatted floor from Ukrainian producer. Ventilation and other equipment is Polish, of Terraexim company.
Personnel policy. Working staff comprise 60 persons, 40 of them are involved directly in production. Peple can live on the farm.
