Live pigs price dynamic

The beginning of September is marked by the stability of live pigs’ prices; although it is expected that friendly atmosphere will not last long on the market. Large-scale slaughtering that will start in private sector and the decrease of meat demand after the end of holiday season will influence the price decrease. Meat import is also among the factors that influence the price.
As of the 11th of September the average price for bacon type pigs was 19.3UAH/kg, the price for meat type pigs was 20,9 UAH/kg.
