Dynamic of slaughter pig prices (march 2011)

The pig price slightly increases in March 2011.  In February, 2011 the average price per 1 kilo of live weight bacon type pigs was 11.75UAH and per 1 kilo of live weight meat type pigs was 14.20UAH. While in March, 2011 the price rose by 9.8% and 9.4% correspondingly. An average price per 1 kilo of bacon type pig was 12.91UAH and 15.55 UAH per 1 kilo of meat type pigs.

As of March, 29 the average bacon type pigs price was 13.13 UAH/kg in live weight and the price per meat type pigs was 15,8 UAH/kg. In general the price per bacon type pigs  has risen by  7.3% since 26.01.11 and per meat type – by  10.9%.
