UAH 1 bln. from the stabilization fund for construction reimbursement and farms reconstruction

The Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine has developed a mechanism of the funds usage provided by the stabilization fund to compensate agricultural producers the cost of construction and reconstruction of breeding farms and complexes in 2010. The text of the relevant draft regulation is posted on the official website of the MAP.
The compensation is set at up to 50% of construction and reconstruction cost of breeding farms and complexes. According to Article 17 - 2.3 of the Law of Ukraine "On Support of Agriculture of Ukraine" it is provided for reimbursement of construction and reconstruction of farms, and complexes with a number of cattle at least 500 heads, sows - at least 1.2 thousand heads and poultry - at least 1 million heads.
It is planned that in 2010 the state will allocate 1 billion UAH for the construction of new livestock, poultry and farm complexes.
It is expected that about 70 agricultural producers are to build and reconstruct cattle farms and complexes: 55 with cattle maintenance, 5 – for pig breeding, and 5 - for poultry breeding.
