Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the order of application of state assignments, for the programs of breeding in animal husbandry and poultry to be implemented. It concerns scientific and research enterprises.
The main controller of state assignments is National Academy of Agrarian Science.
The competition will define who will receive the budgetary funds.
The budgetary funds are distributed as follows:
• dairy and beef cattle - 50-60%;
• pig production - 25-30%;
• poultry breeding - 5-10%;
• horse breeding - 1-2%;
• sheep breeding - 8-13%;
• fur farming, beekeeping, fish farming, rearing of silk warms - 2-5%.
The enterprise will receive extra payments for certain work done in selection branch, including purchasing breeding stock abroad.
The subsidies are as follows:
In dairy production:
Sire – UAH 200 000/head
Cow – UAH 10 000/head
Pig production:
Boar – UAH 9 700/head
Sow – UAH 2 700/head
