Ukrainian producers of meat and meat products are called to go through the quality control check.
It was announced by the participants of the first project called “Independent review of the producers of meat and meat products”. It can be treated as the official appeal to all producers of pork, chicken, semi-finished products, and sausages to take part in the independent inspection. The participation in the inspection is voluntary and will prove to the Ukrainian consumers the high quality of the products produced by the Ukrainian enterprises.
The representatives of the Ministry of Health, State Inspection of Ukraine on the protection of consumers, State Sanitary and Epidemiological Service and others are among the panel of experts .
The project is aimed to protect Ukrainian consumers from the products of bad quality. As during 9 months of the current year it was recalled 25 tons of meat products because of its inadequacy with the quality standards.
The project will be completed in 1.5 - 2 months. And the results will announced to the public.
