Ukraine and European Union made agreements about co-operative activities against African swine fever

Ukraine and European Union take joint preventive and protective measures against African swine fever which may come to Ukraine and also the EU from Russian Federation. The prime minister of Ukraine announced about it according to the results of the meeting with European Union Commissioner on agriculture, which has taken place in Brussels. As the minister says the control of the transportation of meat and meat products, grain from RF will be enhanced. He also adds “It’s a large package of measures. We do it by ourselves. But we can enhance control by joining efforts, experience and finance”.

The minister also reminded that Ukraine took all necessary preventive and protective measures against ASF as disinfective barriers on the board, the ban to bring pigs and meat from Russian Federation, etc.
