“Ukraine intends to refuse from meat and meat products import in the nearest two years “, said the vice prime minister of economic development and trade Andriy Klyuyev.
“I think that we will soon stop to import meat products and our demand for meet will be covered by our own production”, he said during the press conference in Kyiv on Wednesday.
Klyuyev also added that Ukraine annually imports from 200 thousand to 300 thousand tons of meat and meat products and this year the total volume of imported meat decreased by 50 thousand tons.
