Europe: fast-moving collapse of pig prices

For the last two weeks pig prices on the EU market speed up its decreasing. This is told in the European Commission report.
During the last week of September, the price of pigs S and E classes has decreased by 4%. So that, as of September, 22 the carcass hundredweight was sold at 158.04 and 152.29 euros respectively. Pigs of R class getting cheaper a bit slower, but for the last month prices have decreased by 8 euro/hundredweight (-4%).
Note that the prices of pigs E and S classes in the EU show a downward trend since mid-summer. However, the downward trends in prices for these categories of pigs in August and early September were less rapid.
