Live pigs market: the «snowbreak» continues

Last week the price ranges around the country were a bit lower than expected, but the positive dynamics was evident. The resumption of deliveries to Russia, Crimea and Moldova relieved the pressure on the live pigs market.
Pig breeders expect the processers to be more loyal, so the «consensus price» will be higher the range of the 47th week. In western regions the lower price boundary will increase by 20 kopeks and will be 24.2 UAH/kg, in the East the price for live pigs of the first category will balance in range of 23.7-25 UAH/kg, in the Center pigs will be sold by 24.3-24.5 UAH/ kg.
