How much is Ukrainian pork?

Average prices on bacon pork have slightly decreased, as the wholesale bacon ham went down in value by 5 UAH/kg starting January. However, the price increase on bacon rump steak (+2.5 UAH/kg to the level of second half of January) limited the decline.

With price-cutting of meat undercut (-1.5 UAH/kg), boneless ham (-5 UAH/kg) and brisket (-2.5 UAH/kg) the average sell-in price on meaty pork has decreased. Shashlik pork on wholesale markets has lost 4 gryvnas. Wholesale prices of other cuts and pig by-products remained unchanged.

Despite the negative trends on live pig market, predominating from the end of December, the retail business is not in a hurry to correct pork prices. Against the price decrease on live weight, the retail pork price didn’t undergo strong changes.
