Live pigs market: dynamics rise continues

Rates on live market continue to rise. The upper price range, predetermined by western regions on the last week, at the end of March — beginning of April, will spread across all parts of the country.
Thus, on the East, pork of the first category in live weight is planned to be sold by 31-32 UAH/kg. And the range in Central and Western regions is almost synchronized. Western region traditionally forges ahead according to the maximum price that works out 33,5 UAH/kg.
Of course, such situation evokes negative reaction in some processors. However, according to producers, the demand for live pigs doesn’t grow weak. On the other hand, supplies to the Crimea and Russian Federation maintain prices.
