Processors «put on ice»

In January-February 2015, processors have had a dig at frozen pork. There were 3.8 thous. tons of freezed on pig meat that is thrice as much as last year. It is worth noting that throughput of beef and poultry were decreasing at the same time — minus 25% and 6%, properly.

At that period the industrial pig processing didn’t «pull up the rear». Within two months of 2015, results of meat cutting plants and slaughterhouses work had surpassed the pig throughput for the same period of last year on 4.6%.

However, if the production of cooled pork reposes on the same level with the first months of 2014, so the volume of salty, smoke-cured and dried pork has slightly decrease (-8% or 176 t).
