Chornobaymiaso, Ltd was created in November 2007, as a raw materials source for the meet factory Index-Production, Ltd. Within a year, in November 2008, 630 GP sows of Large White and Landrace breeds were imported from Northern Ireland (of UPB genetic company), and also boars of the same breeds and terminal boars Alba.

Nowadays, the farm is actively increasing the herd, keeping in purity the imported lines and breeding the hybrid pigs in the same time. At the present moment, the farm keeps 900 sows, but till the end of the year, they are planning to increase the herd to 1200 sows. The next year, the level of 2400 sows is expected. Besides that, the farm is working on the receiving the status of a farm breeding the Large White and Landrace.

In 2009 Chornobaymiaso, Ltd. reconstructed the feed mill. The feed is produced from own corns as the farm has 80 ha of cultivated area. Now, the plant is working with the capacity of 30 tons per hour, that’s why it satisfies the needs of pig farm in 1.5 working days. However, Chornobaymiaso, Ltd. produces the high-quality feed to other farms on a by-order basis.

Pig farm Chornobaymiaso, Ltd. works on a weekly basis. The units for all pig age groups are equipped according to the newest tendencies. In general they use the Skov (ventilation and climate control systems) and Big Dutchman (feeding stations) equipment.Finishers are kept at 100% slatted floor. Only the artificial insemination is used. Pigs, grown by Chornobaymiaso, Ltd. are in good demand with processing companies. But the biggest proud of the farm is the staff, the Chornobaymiaso, Ltd. is sure, that the motto “People are the key of everything” will be up to date forever.
