Beef Prices as of the 14th of October 2011

As of the 14th of October 2011 beef prices together with subsidies were UAH 16,559 per one ton. In the comparison with the previous month the price rose up by 1%, and in the comparison with the previous year the price rose up by 26%. The highest price was UAH18, 600 per ton and it was in Sumy region; the lowest price was UAH13, 830 per ton and it was in Donetsk region.
Wholesale prices for beef of the 1st category were UAH31.96 per kilo. Its 17% more than at the same period last year and 2% more than in the previous month. The highest price was UAH38.5 per kilo and it was in Kyiv region; the lowest price was UAH24.50 per kilo and it was in Khmelnytsk region.
Retail beef price increased by 8% in the comparison with the previous month, and it increased by 11% in the comparison with the previous year. And the price is UAH 41.69 per kilo.
