PED and Ukraine: the state of affairs will be discussed during the closed meeting

«Is there PED in Ukraine» is a question that worries all world agrarian community. Every day the plurality of news on this topic appears in information sources of neighboring countries and beyond. However, our country hasn’t given yet the official data about presence or absence of epidemic diarrhea in native pig complexes.
But, this question «hurts» and concerns the state in general. As not only the food safety of Ukraine is in the firing line, but the relations with other countries as well.
Therefore, tomorrow January, 20 will take place the closed meeting that gathers experts of all branches: veterinaries, professionals from State Veterinary and Phytosanitary Service, representatives of Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food and specialized pig breeding associations.
During the meeting will be discussed the situation in the country and ways of its solution.
All native pig producers will be informed with results of the conference at the end of this week or the beginning of the next one during the general meeting.
